So some people are very worried about travelling to Mexico…including the government of Canada. But if you fly into one of the many Mexican resorts you will be fine. There is no doubt that Mexico has it’s challenges right now, it is a shame that it is affecting the whole country and their fragile economy.
I love Mexico, I grew up here as a kid, so I felt it was important to travel there, and in my own little way help out the economy.
Interestingly this has proven to opened up some great opportunities. With the power of Google Alerts, I have managed to get a large house sitting gig. The place is amazing 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, less than 1 year old. The owner wants someone to water the plants 3-4 per week, and let the cleaning lady in once a week. I can do that.
In return, I get full access to the whole house, and pay $350 usd per month.
They are looking for someone to do this for 6 months. ummm yeah.
So this should give me the time to learn how to relax again, and allow me to write the great novel, or film el mariatchi Version 5.
